2 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 1/4 cups self rising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups chopped apples, peeled
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup milk
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pecan halves, optional

Remove from heat and gradually stir in powdered sugar. Add vanilla and blend well. Spread over cooled cake. If icing gets to thick, add a little milk and blend well.
